Why combine JPG images into one PDF?

A single PDF is easier to upload, archive, print and share than a folder of separate images. This is useful for photographed documents, receipts, application pages, class notes, portfolios and scanned paperwork captured as individual JPG files.

Before converting, arrange the images in the order you want them to appear. Check orientation and remove accidental duplicates so the final PDF reads like one continuous document.

Image quality and page size

The quality of the final PDF depends on the source images. High-resolution photos preserve more detail but can also create a larger PDF. If the result becomes too large for sharing, run the completed document through Compress PDF after conversion.

For document photos, crop unnecessary background before uploading when possible and make sure text is sharp enough to read. Rotated images should be corrected before or after conversion so every PDF page has the intended orientation.

What if the images are PNG instead?

Use PNG to PDF for PNG files. If you already created several separate PDFs and now want one document, use Merge PDF instead of converting the images again.

Frequently asked questions

Can multiple JPG files go into one PDF?

Does image order matter?

Yes. Arrange the source images in the intended reading order before creating the PDF.

Why is the resulting PDF large?

High-resolution photographs can contain a lot of image data. Compressing the completed PDF can make it easier to share.
